The Women’s Crusade

The article is about how women who work hard to earn there money. Women have been through a lot from being involved in sex trafficking, bride burnings,and raping. A women by the name Saima that was in the story that was being beaten everyday by her husband. The woman's husband would beat her because she was bringing enough money into her household. Her family was very poor, she had to send her daughter to her sister's house because their was not enough food for anyone. Saima took the chance of joining the Kashf Foundation that helped her earn money and start her own small business.

For things I learned

Four things i learned about is about people going to different places. The peace corps volunteer in Guatemala help people build schools and many other things. Also 7,671 volunteers work in the peace corps in at least 76 different countries. The peace corps do many challenging task to make the world look like a better place.

SEPTA

If i was from another country I would think the SEPTA driver could have to try to do something. I would think that Philadelphia would be a be a bad place. Why I would think this is because the SEPTA driver did not try to help the man on the bus. It could be a false statement to make because there could be a different bus driver and they could have tried to help the man on the bus. To improve the society Philadelphia could start caring about the people more. Even though the job of a bus driver is to drive the bus they still save a life.

I believe this quote means that you have to be an example to others. Being an example to other and helping others can mean a lot. Helping others can effect people and help them grow stronger. The quote is a good thing to know because it helps you know that you can be the change. The world is an important place and we all change it if we work together. We can all be the change if we work together.

What is Tolerance

Tolerance is when people try to be open minded about certain things. In a article I read explained how a girl tried to bring her girlfriend to her prom wearing a tux. The school did not allow the girl bring her girlfriend to her prom.

Health Care

I think the government is waiting too long, and I do not understand why a person has to wait forever. It is making it harder for people because times are hard. I believe they should stop waiting forever and give the people what they want free health care.

What I like about Computers

I like the computers because it makes it easier for me to do research. I like the internet because I can go shopping, and I can talk to my friends. Computers just give a easier access to do certain things.

This Semester!!!

This semester I hope to do much better than the first semester. Even though I still struggle with Geometry, I believe I still can improve. Now that I have classes that I enjoy, I know that I can past. What I have did in the past I left behind because this semester is a fresh start for me!

first semester !!!

In the first semester was alright for me. I was still having a lot of difficulty with Geometry. I had gotten better in Spanish and I began passing a lot of my test and quizzes. I had been doing better in Biology and American Studies. I didn't do as great as I wanted, but I know that I can do much better.
